LAST TREE CARD SALES PUSH!
We will have a table at Henery Hardware this Saturday from 9 am to 3 pm. If you are not signed up to attend the crew leader training, PLEASE sign up to work an hour or two. Even if you have sold all your cards or have turned them back in, please come help-- we have plenty of extras to sell! As added incentive, you will be able to count the time you spend selling tree cards toward your volunteer hours balance! Sign up in the office... before someone signs you up... ;-)

We will have an early dismissal next Wednesday, 1/27.

CONCERT HELP STILL NEEDED
Please let me know if you can help with set-up and/or clean-up for our Winter Concert coming up on February 5. We only have one volunteer so far! See me if you have questions about what this entails. The sign up sheet is posted in the office.

PLANTATHON
Counting the days until the Plantathon... by now you should have picked up info in your folders about what you'll need for the day of the event. Remember, we've committed 80 people (includes children) for that day, so we need a 100% turnout to meet that obligation! If you are unable to make the January 30 date you may attend the February 6 planting; same time, meeting place, etc. We still need people to help park and to get folks signed in. Please contact Betsy Carlson or sign up in the office; these are easy jobs but we need to be sure they're covered! And keep that Plantathon money coming in...

CONSIDER SENDING EXTRA CLOTHES
There seem to be a lot of kids having a really good time with water and mud at recess lately... please consider throwing at least an extra pair of pants and socks in your child's backpack or cubby so we don't have to pilfer from the emergency comfort kits. If your child has come home wearing their extra clothes, please be sure to bring a set back for the emergency comfort kit. Thanks!

BOOK GROUP MEETING
Just a reminder that the next parent book group is meeting February 25 at 6 pm. The book we'll be discussing is "Raising Cain: Protecting the Emotional Life of Boys." If you would like to participate, click here to order the book.

NATURE AWARENESS CLASS
Alan Brisley and Nicole Larson will be offering two new after school Nature Awareness Classes for youth on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting in February. The classes are geared toward students ages 8 and up. A more thorough description is posted in the office.
