GENDER SPECTRUM WORKSHOPS
We had a great parent meeting last night and 2 really terrific classroom sessions today-- thank you to Joel Baum for his work with us in the past two days! If your child is in Karen, Russ or Melinda's class, ask them what they thought about the talk today.

EARLY DISMISSAL NEXT WEDNESDAY
We will have a 12:30 dismissal next Wednesday, 10/21.

ART NEXT WEEK
Art after school will be available on Wednesday from 12:30-3:30 for $16 per child. Diane is unable to be there, so Loida will be in charge for the afternoon.

BALANCE IN LEARNING WORKSHOP
The Adventurers' teacher, Melinda, will be offering a workshop on Balance in Learning next Wednesday from 1:00 - 4:00. We'll cover the theory behind using the balance board, and then use the boards. Each participant will do some pre-tests and post-tests as well as be able to try out different activities in the three hour class. Cost is $45 - teachers and parents welcome!

SCHOLASTIC ORDERS ARE IN
If you placed an order, books will be available for pickup by Monday.

HALLOWEEN THIS YEAR
A couple of families have asked about Halloween; since it falls on a Saturday, we have opted not to do anything at school this year. We ask that you not send your child to school with a costume or treats, please-- but enjoy the festivities downtown and at home!

WAREHOUSE WORK COMPLETE
Thanks to all of you who worked in the warehouse in the past two weeks, we raised about $4000 for the school! You all were SO efficient that we ran out of bulbs and couldn't use our final set of workers! Thank you for your time and efforts.

JOB BOARD
If you're needing to fulfill some volunteer hours, there are several jobs that need doing that are posted on the bulletin board in the office. Many of them are outdoor tasks-- please stop by and take a look!
