    Characteristics of a Successful Student

Swan School enrolls students who are eager to learn, work well with others, and are respectful to staff and fellow students of all ages. Our students welcome academic challenge and are able to focus and work hard. Their creativity and love of learning enhances our vibrant educational environment.

    Families and Swan School

Parental involvement in the activities of the school is appreciated, encouraged, and a crucial element in the development of a successful learning experience for the children. From helping kids read in the classroom to performing maintenance and cleaning chores, families regularly give many hours each month to keep Swan School standards high. We maintain a Parent Library in the office of titles parents are welcome to borrow at any time.

    Location

Located on a city block in a quiet residential neighborhood of Port Townsend, Washington, that overlooks Kai Tai Lagoon and Port Townsend Bay, Swan School has been an institution in Port Townsend for nearly two decades. The students enjoy a large grassy play yard with an adjacent woods that serves as a natural exploration and environmental discovery area.
